Seeger Gesundheitshaus GmbH & Co. KG in Berlin welcomed us to test for the first time together the smart textile that replaces traditional plaster casting in the design of orthoses and prosthetic devices.
👣 In just 3 seconds, the textile captures the shape of a foot and generates a precise STL file ready for digital workflows. This STL shape was then analyzed by Seeger experts.
📏 Result: an excellent match between the physical measurements taken with a tape measure and the dimensions of the BellwaldTEC STL file.
💡 A promising step toward for faster, cleaner, and fully digital orthopedic measurements.
